The Citizen brand is a famous watches producer. Citizen means cetatean in Romanian. But you can’t go to a shop and say you want to buy a “ cetatean watch”. In Romanian this word means the same thing as in English but it has not the same echo. When we hear the word citizen we automatically think of the watches. They made this word famous. It can be translated in any language but it will never have the same echo as in English.
